This is an informational website. It has no account creation, payment system, public application access or TikTok login. We do not intentionally add advertising, visitor analytics or tracking cookies.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. When you visit the website, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and protect it, such as your IP address, the page requested, request time and browser or network information. Cloudflare may keep operational or security records under its applicable terms and may use necessary security cookies when its protections apply. We do not export individual request logs or maintain our own visitor database.
Cloudflare operates internationally. Website traffic and associated technical information may be processed outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States and Europe. Cloudflare describes its applicable transfer safeguards in its Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Policy.
Closed TikTok Sandbox experiment
The separate developer experiment is limited to two authentication attempts using the operator's own TikTok account as the Sandbox target user. Login Kit includes only the user.info.basic permission. We do not request other TikTok permissions or call a profile API for this experiment.
The authentication flow may temporarily handle an authorization code, a PKCE verifier, token response data and a TikTok account identifier. The TikTok Client Secret is handled on the operator-controlled test computer and is not published on this website. The experiment is designed without persistent storage of user tokens or identifiers in the test harness. It attempts token revocation where supported by the harness, but a failed revocation may leave a token active at TikTok. We do not claim that TikTok will always revoke or immediately delete data.
TikTok processes information under its own terms and privacy information when its authentication service is used. This website does not conduct that authentication.
Why information is processed
Technical website data is processed to deliver the pages and maintain their security. Data involved in the closed experiment is processed to examine the behaviour of the TikTok authentication protocol. Our UK GDPR basis for these limited activities is legitimate interests: operating a secure informational site and carrying out a controlled technical test with the operator's own account. TikTok's authorization screen is not, by itself, our choice of UK GDPR lawful basis.
If you email us, we use the information in your message to read and answer it. Our contact address uses Gmail, provided by Google, so the email service also processes the message. Our UK GDPR basis for responding to enquiries is our legitimate interest in handling communications about this website and project. We retain correspondence only while needed to handle the enquiry, reasonable follow-up or an applicable legal obligation.
Retention and your rights
We do not keep a persistent database of website visitors or retain TikTok tokens or identifiers in the experimental harness. Cloudflare retains technical records for its service operations, security and applicable legal requirements under its own retention criteria; we cannot promise a single deletion period for those records. The duration and limits of the Sandbox token flow will be reviewed after the actual test, including any failed revocation.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection concerning personal data we control. Write to bogdan641987@gmail.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
We will review this notice before any public application release, additional TikTok permissions, analytics, new data storage or other material change.
